I would like to see the current month excluded from averages and trend lines. The problem being that the current month is not complete and as a result it skews the results, especially near the beginning of the month when the expenses have not been fully spent for the month.

When I am looking at the past 6 months for example, the current month in many cases has zero spending because I haven't spent out of that category yet. As a result, the trend line shows a downward trend when the reality it may be flat or upward for the period. In addition, because there's zero spending for the current month the average is lower than it should be over the time period.
