Budget vs Actuals chart/graph

Mark Siongco could you go into more detail about what you're trying to learn/what type of actionable feedback you'd want the chart to provide that the target health report doesn't? Also, I'm a bit confused by the "tag" filter here, how would that work? Thanks!

Brandon Trautmann The target health report shows actual vs budget which is what I’m after, but it would be nice to see it displayed in a bar chart format similar to the Income vs Expense report. Easier to see month on month how the budget is performing to actuals, if over or under.
It would be nice to also have the ability to select the categories you want to compare, that’s what I mean by tags (sorry for the confusion).
Attached is an example of what I was thinking of to see in Lumy for budget vs actuals.

Mark Siongco Interesting. A couple thoughts:
- Isn't target health report the same as the screenshot you posted, but horizontal? If so, does it come down to just the direction of the bars?
- Have you tried using Category Views on the Reports tab to filter out categories you're not interested in? That should work but let me know if it doesn't!

Brandon Trautmann yes the health report is similar but I noticed if you choose a range, say last 3 months, I don’t see the comparison of budget vs actuals in 3 different months like the vertical income vs expense report. Instead, the totals of all 3 months are summarized horizontally in one go, so it’s a comparison of the entire 3 months and not 3 separate months, if that makes sense. Same goes if you choose to see 12 months, it will be one bar showing the sum of all 12 months, etc.
