When viewing the target health report, there are often categories with targets longer than the selected date range. For those categories, often a singular transaction will skew the target health, making it appear unhealthy when in fact it is fine.
Example: User selects Latest 6 Months, and category A has an annual target of $2400. If the $2400 transaction occurred in the last 6 months, the reported average spent will be $400/month when in reality it very well may be $200/month if spent once per year.
This feature would allow a more accurate view of longer-term target durations without needing to change the date range so much.
